SLS Chemicals is a supplier of water treatment chemicals to the pulp and paper, mining, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), petrochemical, SAGD, tailings thickening, industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment industries. We understand your operations and customers very well. The “value added” supply chain model has evolved over the past decade and SLS has responded to many years of its customers asking for very specific services and low cost alternatives where technical services can take many forms. Until now, that option did not exist.
SLS Chemical Inc. is a different kind of chemical company. It was created from a desire to offer our clients to be more involved in product selection and service delivery. We do this by finding the best manufacturers and creating unique partnerships with them. We only buy from manufactures who produce the goods we sell. We eliminate all “middle-men” and take advantage of economies of scale. From this foundation, SLS has grown into one of the largest dry polymer importers in Canada, specializing in polymer based chemistry for water clarification, sludge dewatering and scale control. Our consulting services include technical/operator training and procurement management across several industry sectors.
Where do we get our polymer from? Currently, we have 3 manufacturing partners in China and 2 in the United States and Canada who produce our product lines. Our partners are global majors. Our supply chain into Canada is well established. Chemical capacity, shipping logistics, warehousing and technical services are in place in Canada so you do not have to worry about running out of product or not receiving support. In 2015 SLS adopted the American Water Works Associations training methodology for the operations of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Having conducted chemical application training sessions for over 20 years in a variety of industries, operator training can be included in the purchase of the chemical programs or delivered separately for an additional fee.
